Appearance:

50’ grayish brown serpent.  Head consists of  4 tentacles with a beak at the junction.  Four small eyes are located between the tentacles.

Notes:

Grickars are ambush hunters, lying in wait near glades or Moon Paths, then striking, grappling and disabling their prey before dragging them into the darkness to consume the victim.

Armor

Cost 2 Essence; adds (Gnosis) to soak for one scene.

Inner Pain

Lose 1 die/1 Essence spent for 1 turn/Gnosis rating.  If dice exceed Sta, unconscious, then -2 dice for rest of scene

Consume Essence

Takes 1 Essence/Rage success or 1 temp Gnosis/2 Rage success.

Appearance:

4’ bulbous dragonfly-like body, 12 grasping legs, and a 5’long thin mobile abdomen like a scorpion’s tail, ending in four curved claws.

Notes:

BSDs use Sira’poci as scouts and guardians in return for Essence and egg hosts.  In this capacity, they are to paralyze intruders and then report in.

*Flee:

Will 15 for purposes of evasion.

*Possess:

Implants a spirit egg which grows into a larvae which partially controls the fomor and consumes it from the inside.

*Paralyze:

A successful sting will drain (Rage) Dex at the rate of 1 per turn.  A Rage point may nullify the effect for one round.  Dex returns at the rate of 1 per half hour (counting negative Dex if there was an overage).
