Colonial Africa

I have an interest in British East Africa, particularly in the first three decades of the 20th century.  Hence this page (which is heavily under construction).
An interview with Bunny Allen, "last of the great white hunters." He died in 2002.
Karen Blixen, who wrote under the name Isak Dinesen, tried to run a coffee plantation in the Ngong Hills.  Her books, Out of Africa and Shadows on the Grass are probably the key reason more than a handful of Americans know the names Finch Hatton and Bror Blixen.
